The trophy is called the Oldfield Trophy and it's been going since 2008.

Last year in the Vale was their 3rd consecutive victory over England.

The qualification is an order of merit points system for placings in our monthly events. At the end of the allotted season the Top 7 will be picked automatically and the remaining 7 get picked by the Captain - This makes a squad of 14 to play England.

The matches use the Ryder Cup formats of Fourballs & Singles over 2 days to find a winner. At the end of the 1st day the captain's put all names in the hat (so to speak) so that each player get different opponents.

Association Member Shipmate Andy Jones who represents Wales on the European Disabled Golf Circuit with the Oldfield trophy 2018.
